LYCATAB® PGS a robust wet granulation binder - Introduction
LYCATAB® PGS is a natural pregelatinized maize starch that has been specially developed as a binder for wet granulation.
It is dispersible in cold water and ready for use.
Its properties result from a combination of the natural binding properties of pregels and a controlled manufacturing process.
The latter prevents the excessive development of viscosity in the final formulation and reduces interference with the dissolution profile of actives in the final forms.
